Questions, answered.
- How long is an EPC valid for?
- An EPC is valid for 10 years from the date it's lodged on the official register. You can use the same certificate for repeated lettings within that period.
- How quickly will I get my certificate?
- Most reports are lodged and emailed within 24 hours of the visit. If you need it sooner, mention it in your booking - we'll do our best.
- Do I need to be at the property?
- Not necessarily. If you can arrange access (estate agent, tenant or key-safe) we can carry out the survey without you.
- When and how do I pay?
- Payment is required before the appointment - either pay the fixed price in full upfront, or pay a 50% deposit to confirm your booking with the remaining balance settled at the property inspection.
- Are there any extra charges?
- Just £5 per extension on the property e.g. conservatory, rear/side extension or loft conversion. A two-storey extension under one roof counts as a single extension.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.
